Hellforge: Demon Protocol is a 2D run-and-gun shooter that never lets your trigger finger rest. Over 20 missions in a grim industrial hellscape you gun down foot soldiers, riot-shield grunts, minigun heavies, robotic hounds and frenzied berserkers, and every stage hits harder than the last.
The levels fight back too. Sixteen kinds of traps wait for careless feet, and secret pickups reward anyone who explores. Scavenge six different guns plus armor, grenades and shields, keep two weapons ready at once, and use dodges and double jumps to slip past danger. Ten animated bosses guard the way, and after you beat them they come back later as elite enemies, so the pressure keeps building.

How to Play
- Move with A/D or the Left/Right arrows. Jump or double jump with Space, W or Up.
- Aim with the mouse and fire with left click or J. Reload with R.
- Dodge with Shift, throw a grenade with G and raise your shield with F.
- Pick up items with E and switch weapons with Q or 1/2.
- Pause with P or Esc. On mobile, use the on-screen touch controls.
Tips
- Save grenades for shielded grunts and minigun heavies: blasting them from cover is safer than trading bullets head on.
- Learn each boss's attack pattern, because those same foes return later as elite enemies.
