About Klondike Solitaire: Daily Deal
Klondike Solitaire: Daily Deal is our own take on the card game most people simply call solitaire. Seven piles sit across the table, the stock waits in the corner, and four empty foundations wait for the aces. Build the piles down in alternating colours, red on black and black on red, and move every card up to the foundations by suit, from the ace to the king.
Play it the way you like. Draw 1 turns over one card from the stock at a time and is the relaxed way to play; Draw 3 turns over three and only lets you play the top one, the classic challenge. Either way you can go through the stock as often as you like. Tap a card and it goes to the best place it can, a foundation first, or drag it where you want it. Undo is free and unlimited, so a wrong turn never costs you the game.
Every deal is checked before it reaches the table, so every game you start can be won. The daily deal is one deal for everyone each day, winnable in both Draw 1 and Draw 3, and winning it on days in a row builds a streak. If you would rather keep playing, New deal shuffles up another winnable game straight away. When there is nothing useful left to do, the game says so and offers to undo instead of leaving you tapping the stock.
Scoring follows the usual Klondike points: cards to the foundations, cards turned over and cards played from the waste all count, and turning the stock back over costs points. A win adds a time bonus and a bonus for every move under 200, so a quick, tidy game scores best, and your best win goes on the leaderboard. Once every card on the table is face up, the rest plays itself home.
The cards, the table, the sound effects and a calm background tune are all made for this game, and the mute button turns the sound off. Your game in progress is saved as you play, undo history included, so you can close the tab and carry on later. It is free to play in your browser with no download or sign-up, and it plays with a mouse or by touch.

How to Play
- Choose Draw 1 or Draw 3, or play the daily deal.
- Build the seven piles down in alternating colours: a red 6 on a black 7, a black 5 on that red 6. A face-up run moves together.
- Only a king, or a run that starts with one, goes into an empty pile.
- Tap the stock to turn over cards. The top card of the waste can be played.
- Move each suit up to the foundations, from the ace to the king. Tap a card to send it to the best place, or drag it.
- Use Undo as often as you like. Once every card on the table is face up, the rest plays itself to the foundations.
Tips
- Turn over face-down cards first. A move that frees a hidden card is usually worth more than one that only tidies a pile.
- Don't rush cards to the foundations. A low card can still be the place for the next card down from a pile.
- Empty a pile only when you have a king ready to put there. An empty pile nothing can use is wasted space.
- In Draw 3, think before you turn the stock. Playing one card from the waste changes which three come up next time.
- Fewer moves and a faster win both add to the score, so plan a few moves ahead instead of tapping the stock to see what comes up.
FAQ
- Is Klondike Solitaire: Daily Deal free?
- Yes. It is free to play in any modern browser, with no download and no sign-up.
- Can every deal be won?
- Yes. Every deal is checked by a solver before it is dealt, and the daily deal can be won in both Draw 1 and Draw 3.
- What is the difference between Draw 1 and Draw 3?
- Draw 1 turns over one card from the stock at a time. Draw 3 turns over three and only the top one can be played, which makes it harder to reach the card you need. You can go through the stock as many times as you like in both.
- What is the daily deal?
- One deal for everyone each day. It changes at midnight UTC, and winning it on days in a row builds a streak.
- How is the score worked out?
- During play you score for cards sent to the foundations, cards turned over and cards played from the waste, and lose points each time you turn the stock back over. A win adds a time bonus and 10 points for every move under 200. Your best win goes on the leaderboard.
- Is there a hint?
- Yes, a paid one that costs gems: it lights up the card to move and where it goes, or tells you how far to undo when the game can no longer be won. Undo is always free.
