About Spider Solitaire: Daily Deal
Spider Solitaire: Daily Deal is our own take on the classic two-deck patience game. 104 cards are dealt into ten piles, with only the top card of each face up, and the other 50 wait in the stock. Build runs from King down to Ace in one suit. A finished run leaves the table by itself, and clearing all eight runs wins the game.
Any card can go on a card one rank higher, whatever its suit, but only a run of one suit in order moves together. Empty piles take any card or run, so they are your best tool for sorting things out. When you run out of moves, tap the stock to deal one card onto every pile, five times in a game. As in the standard rules, you can't deal while a pile is empty. Play with one suit for a relaxed game, two for a medium one, or all four for the expert challenge.
Every deal is checked by a solver before it reaches the table. Each day brings a daily deal for each suit count, the same for everyone and confirmed winnable, and winning any one of them on days in a row builds a streak. New game shuffles up another checked deal whenever you want one. One game is kept for each daily deal and each suit count, so you can leave a game and pick it up again from the start screen.
Tap a card and it moves, with the cards on it, to the best place it can go, or drag it where you want it. The cards have big faces, and cards that can't be moved are dimmed, which you can turn off. A four-colour option makes diamonds blue and clubs green, so four suits are easier to tell apart. Undo is free and unlimited, all the way back through deals and finished runs, and your undo history survives a reload. A keyboard works too: Z or Backspace undoes and D or Space deals. When no move or deal is left, the game says so and offers to undo.
Scoring is classic Spider: you start with 500, each move costs 1 and each finished run earns 100. Every win posts to the leaderboard, and harder suit counts are worth more. The only paid item is a hint, which costs gems and shows the next step of a winning line from where you are. Spider Solitaire: Daily Deal is free to play in your browser with no download or sign-up, and its cards, sound effects and music are all made for the game.

How to Play
- Choose 1, 2 or 4 suits, or play the daily deal for one of them.
- Put any card on a card one rank higher, of any suit. Only a run of one suit in order moves together.
- Any card or run can go into an empty pile.
- Tap the stock to deal one card onto every pile. Every pile must have a card first.
- Build a run from King down to Ace in one suit and it leaves the table. Clear all eight runs to win.
- Tap a card to send it to the best place, or drag it. Undo as often as you like.
Tips
- Turn over face-down cards first. Every hidden card you reveal gives you more choices.
- Build in one suit whenever you can. A mixed run can't be moved as one, so it blocks the cards under it.
- Use an empty pile to take a mixed run apart and rebuild it in one suit. Fill the pile again before the next deal.
- Don't rush to deal. A deal puts a card on top of every pile, so finish what you can before you tap the stock.
- With four suits, turn on four-colour suits in the settings. Diamonds and clubs are much easier to spot.
FAQ
- Is Spider Solitaire: Daily Deal free?
- Yes. It is free to play in any modern browser, with no download and no sign-up.
- What is the daily deal?
- One deal for each suit count, 1, 2 and 4, the same for everyone that day. They change at midnight UTC, and winning any one of them on days in a row builds a streak. A won daily deal can't be played again for a second score.
- Can every deal be won?
- Every deal is checked by a solver before it is dealt, and every daily deal is confirmed winnable. In the rare case a new game can't be checked in time, the game tells you before you play.
- How is the score worked out?
- On the table you start with 500, lose 1 for each move (a deal and an undo count as moves) and earn 100 for each finished run. For the leaderboard a win scores 1,300 minus your moves, at least 100, times 1 for one suit, 2 for two suits or 3 for four suits.
- Is there a hint?
- Yes, a paid one that costs gems: it lights up the run to move and where it goes, or the stock when it is time to deal. You are only charged when there is a hint to show. Undo is always free.
- Why can't I deal?
- Because a pile is empty. As in the standard rules, every pile needs a card before you deal. The only exception is when fewer than ten cards are left on the table, so the game can still finish.
