About Block Fit
Block Fit is our own block puzzle. Three blocks wait under the board. Drag each one onto the 10×10 grid wherever it fits. Fill a whole row or a whole column and it clears, making room for more. Place all three and three new blocks arrive. Blocks never turn, so the game is about finding the right spot for every shape, and when none of the blocks on offer fits anywhere, the game is over.
There is no clock and nothing falls, so you can take as long as you like over every move. While you drag, a shadow shows exactly where the block will land, and every row and column it would complete lights up in its colour before you let go. On a phone the block floats just above your finger, so your finger never hides the spot. A block that fits nowhere on the board right now is drawn faded, which tells you to make room before you place the others. Each colour of block carries its own small mark, so the board is easy to read for colour-blind players too.
Every square you place scores a point. Lines score 10 for one, 30 for two at once, 60 for three and more for bigger clears. Keep clearing within three placements and the combo grows from ×2 to ×3 and beyond, multiplying every line. Clear the whole board for a 300-point bonus.
Classic is endless and keeps your best score. The daily challenge gives everyone the same blocks for 30 rounds on each UTC day, so scores can be compared fairly on the leaderboard. Play it each day to build a streak. Your game is saved after every block, so you can leave and come back. If you have gems, you can undo the last block, swap the blocks on offer, drop a bomb on a 3×3 square, or continue once after the game ends; none of them changes how your score is counted. Block Fit is free to play in your browser with no download or sign-up, and its blocks, music and sound effects are all made for the game.

How to Play
- Pick the daily challenge or a classic game.
- Drag a block from under the board onto the grid. Blocks don't turn.
- Fill a whole row or column and it clears. Lines about to clear light up before you let go.
- Place all three blocks to get three new ones.
- Clear again within three placements to grow the combo and multiply your points.
- The game ends when none of the blocks on offer fits anywhere.
Tips
- Keep a 3×3 space open. The big square and the big corners need it.
- Fill the edges first and keep the middle of the board open.
- Look at all three blocks before you place the first one, and save room for the hardest shape.
- Line up two rows or columns so one block clears both at once: two lines score 30, not 20.
- A faded block fits nowhere right now. Clear a line before you place the others.
FAQ
- Is Block Fit free?
- Yes. It is free to play in any modern browser, with no download and no sign-up.
- What is the daily challenge?
- Thirty rounds of blocks, the same for everyone that day. It changes at midnight UTC. You can replay it, your best score of the day counts, and playing it each day builds your streak.
- How is the score worked out?
- 1 point per square you place. Lines cleared by one block score 10, 30, 60, 100 and so on for 1, 2, 3, 4 at once, times your combo. The combo grows with every block that clears and ends after three blocks without a clear. An empty board adds 300.
- Can I rotate the blocks?
- No. Blocks keep the shape and direction they are dealt in, so part of the puzzle is keeping room for each one.
- What do gems do?
- Gems buy four helpers at fixed prices: undo the last block, swap the blocks on offer, a bomb that clears a 3×3 square, and one continue after the game ends. None of them changes how your score is counted.
