About Golf Solitaire: Daily Deal
Golf Solitaire: Daily Deal is our own take on the classic patience game played straight from the columns. Thirty-five cards lie face up in seven columns of five, so you can see everything on the table from the first move. Below them sit the stock and the waste pile. Only the front card of each column can be played, and the goal is to clear all 35.
The rule fits in one line: play a column's front card onto the waste pile if it is one rank above or below the top card. Suits don't matter, and up and down can mix in one run, like 6, 7, 8, 7, 6. Tap anywhere on a column to play its front card. When nothing fits, tap the stock to turn over a new waste card; the stock goes through once, so every turn counts. Easy lets King and Ace connect both ways, so a run can wrap from Queen to King to Ace. Hard keeps them apart, and nothing at all goes on a King.
Every card you play in a row is worth more than the one before: 10 points, then 20, 30 and so on, and turning a stock card starts the streak over. The streak counter sits in the toolbar and the chime climbs the scale as the run grows. Emptying a column adds 100 points, and clearing the whole table adds 500 more plus 50 for every card still in the stock. Run out of moves and you keep the points you made. The highest score any deal allows is 8,300.
Every deal is played through by a solver before it reaches the table, so every game you get can be cleared. Each day brings one daily deal, the same for everyone and played with Easy rules, and finishing it on days in a row builds a streak. Your first finish of each daily deal goes to the leaderboard. Undo is free and unlimited in a new deal; in the daily deal you can take back plays, but a turned stock card stays turned, so nobody can peek at the stock. On a phone held upright the stock and waste are drawn big near your thumb, and a card that doesn't fit gives a little shake.
The only paid item is a hint, which costs gems and lights up the next move of a line that clears the table, or tells you how many moves to undo. Golf Solitaire: Daily Deal is free to play in your browser with no download or sign-up, and its cards, sound effects and music are all made for the game.

How to Play
- Play the daily deal or deal a new game in Easy or Hard.
- Clear all 35 cards from the seven columns to win.
- Tap a column to play its front card if it is one rank above or below the waste card. Suits don't matter.
- Nothing fits? Tap the stock for a new waste card. The stock goes through once.
- Easy: King and Ace connect. Hard: no wrap, and nothing goes on a King.
- Play cards in a row for a streak: each card scores more than the last. Empty columns and a clear table add bonuses.
Tips
- Look along all seven columns before you tap: the longest run usually beats the first card that fits.
- Dig into the deepest columns first. A column with five cards left is the hardest to finish late.
- Watch for Kings in Hard: once one is on the waste, only the stock can follow it.
- Don't rush the stock. Every card left in it is worth 50 points when the table is clear.
- In a new deal, undo freely and try another line. Every deal can be cleared.
FAQ
- Is Golf Solitaire: Daily Deal free?
- Yes. It is free to play in any modern browser, with no download and no sign-up.
- Can every deal be cleared?
- Yes. A solver plays every deal through to a clear table before it is dealt, so every daily deal and every new deal can be cleared.
- What is the difference between Easy and Hard?
- In Easy, King and Ace connect, so a run can go Q, K, A, 2. In Hard they don't, and nothing at all can go on a King, so a King on the waste means turning the stock.
- What is the daily deal?
- One deal a day, the same for everyone, played with Easy rules. It changes at midnight UTC. A turned stock card can't be undone there, and finishing it on days in a row builds a streak.
- How is the score worked out?
- Each card scores 10 times its place in the streak (10, 20, 30…), and a stock turn starts the streak over. An empty column adds 100. Clearing the table adds 500 plus 50 for each stock card left. The most any deal allows is 8,300. Your first finish of each daily deal goes to the leaderboard.
- Is there a hint?
- Yes, a paid one that costs 20 gems: it lights up the card (or the stock) that keeps a clearing line alive, or tells you how many moves to undo; when no clear is left and undo can't help, it shows the start of the longest run open. You are only charged when there is a hint to show, and a hint never lowers your score.
